​After over a decade of teaching and a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, I have learned a few 'helps' along the way. It is my passion to mentor new and experienced teachers, drawing on the insights I have gleaned from fellow educators as well as my own experiences. It is my goal to share time savers, helpful tips, and ideas that take the pressure off of lesson planning, classroom management, parent interaction, and daily administrative expectations. When is too much too much? I have been guilty of too many anchor adoring my classroom walls. Often, placed because they were cute and matched my theme. Until one day I started to question were they helping my students or just for the overall look of the room?
