About Dena Hoover

headshot.jpeg

At the height of the book tour promoting her first book, Sweet Dreams: Healing at the feet of Jesus, and sharing her second publication, a Bible study, It's Not Personal: Unmasking Offense at women's Bible study groups, and guest speaking, the struggle to keep the train on the tracks became more difficult as anxiety exploded into tormenting panic attacks. Unable to continue pulling up her bootstraps and plowing through, Dena retreated, feeling defeated and believing she had let God and her followers down. As only God can do, He turned what was meant for evil into good during the appointed time of healing, making her a promise that He would give back everything that anxiety had stolen. Through time with Jesus, God's Word, research, and embracing counseling, God is calling this her comeback story, starting with her third book release coming soon

Dena and her husband of 29 years reside in Cape Coral, Florida where they enjoy playing tennis and participating in 5K bike rides. She is a mother and a proud Grammy of two angels she calls her grandchildren.

She has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's in Curriculum and Instruction.
